D”ALAY MAURO

The artistic careers of certain Italian authors which evolved partially (or entirely) abroad stands as the strongest and most convincing testimony to the glories of Italian music in the eighteenth century.
It is extraordinary to find in a violinist who has been forgotten for over two centuries, such an impressive knowledge of the instrument (albeit remaining within the limited scope of the six Sonatas dedicated to the Duke of Richmond (presented in this CD).
